Re: Brees is done
Peat can usually hold his own, as well, but Clapp is a huge drop off.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion of course. I guess I can see logic and I understand emotions. But some people just make news for the Falcons board to look at and laugh. I'm not loyal to any player or coach that hurts the team more than helps it. I want the Saints to win. But in the same regard, I also know that sometimes things happen and we lose. When people completely come off the rails and post bulletin board material that's at best, laughable, its embarrassing. |

Re: Brees is done
The loss was on the entire team, not just Brees. We have won games with Teddy in when he produced less than Brees did yesterday. Our defense and offensive line took the day off, Brees was off and special teams didn’t do anything special. Brees is still one of the best around and to judge him from a performance in a game where everyone **** the bed is ignorant.
That being said I hate, furious rather that he and Payton continued to take dangerous shots with our starters when the game was mathematically impossible to win. Makes them both look foolish, selfish, and desperate. Not a good way to keep the team rallied around you. |

Deonte Harris was the only real bright spot yesterday. |

Peat is the most underwhelming, highly drafted lineman I've ever seen in black and gold. A man that large shouldn't get tossed around in the manner he does. He's a soft player. Saints front office missed on this draft pick. But you're right, Clapp is awful too. Bad depth at the position. |

Re: Brees is done
Demario Davis was the only guy playing with passion on D yesterday. Latt did too up until he tweaked his quad/hammy.
