this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Other side of that is if your team is developing a player that flashes in his call-up opportunity, then you've got to move to protect him or a lesser team raids your practice squad......

Re: 2020 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook
I'd sure like to bring in an additional RB for this roster; maybe even bring back Jonathan Williams if he's still available; the veteran RB market sure dried up quick...
Wonder if we could even move Warford for a RB for depth and then sign a Free Agent Guard to look at in camp? |

With Frank Gore signing with the Jets, can't help but wonder if we don't need to bring in another running back, who's more of a running back than a kicking game specialist...

Guaranteed to find a value before the season starts. I can't say it enough - San Fran made the Superbowl with three journeymen RBs.

Re: 2020 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook
If the Jets cut Avery Williamson, I hope we pursue him. 120 tackles in 2018. ACL in preseason last year kept him from playing all year. He'd be an upgrade over Anzalone and Kiko.

Re: 2020 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook
We've got a lot of money already tied up at LBer with Demario Davis, just spent two third round picks at LBer with Zach Baun, & we play nickel for nearly 2/3 snaps...
Plus you've still got Alex Anzalone, who played as well as anyone when healthy (maybe that's finally fixed); Kiko is as good as it comes until recent injuries; and we've got more... I'd be patient at LBer for now; Defensive End and Running Back is what concerns me at the moment... |
