That being said, I know nothing about Trautman and this is a head scratcher. |

True, it's just really feckin difficult to wrap my brain around trading away all the rest of your picks for one spot in the late third round. Its puzzling and dare I say a bit troubling. This was not a sound decision any way you slice it and you wonder who pulled the trigger and wtf were they smoking at the time.

Exactly. Day three picks on a roster as deep as the Saints have right now would be nothing more than camp bodies and you can get those through UDFA. I love the move!!

I don’t get it. We needed a WR and we could have used other picks for depth. There are always surprises. For that price he needs to have an immediate impact. I’ll bet 100 this dude stays inactive AND Sanders only plays about 12 very lackluster games. The pick is especially concerning given the fact we have no offseason program. I You said the offseason program is useless but you are about to find out how important it is for players like him who have to get a lot stronger. He is weak. |

To make it clear, you bet Adam Trautman doesn't make the active roster AND Emmanuel Sanders only plays in 12, or less games, and is deemed lackluster in those. Correct? Of course, this depends upon actually having a season, right? |
