Long spent three days in St. Louis, but it's obviously not a good sign for the Rams that he's leaving without having signed on the dotted line. Miami is believed to be his other serious suitor, but it sounds like are other teams are ready to get in the mix. With a host of fallback options having come off the market during Long's marathon visit, the Rams may have cost themselves their best chance at upgrading Sam Bradford's blindside situation. |

re: Nnamdi Asomugha (All in one)
We all know he sucked the past 2 years... there's no denying that. But we're talking in the instance that he takes a reduced amount of money. While he may not or become stellar anymore, he still young enough to be an above average cornerback again. It's all about risk reward... if the risk isn't high, it doesn't hurt to kick the tires on him.
Remember there was a time in Oakland under Ryan when teams flat out refused to throw the ball on his side of the field. So if we're looking at his counting stats, it's not going to be up there. His play in Oakland was far from underwhelming... he was arguably the best cornerback in the league. |
Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.
All little common sense goes a long way. |

We just signed a new corner.............NA is larger than life everywhere except on the field. Greer is the man this coming season and is going to be our number one corner for a couple of more years. P Rob has been given one more chance. We've still got White who is up and coming and another corner whose name escapes me...........he was strong last year before going to IR. So I'll pass on NA.

yeah... I guess you want fewer passes defensed.. meaning they don't wanna throw on your side ... still has he now become a Jason David impersonator?

Not that this does him any favors, but I think he has the Randy Moss syndrome. Great talent that has motivational issues. And from what I've read, he hated his time in Philly. He was isolated towards his teammates and come meal time, he'd go sit in his car and eat by himself.

I think here he could get back to his playing roots with RR and being in a humble enviroment...not going to have to deal with media in you face all day everyday because we all know Payton (especially now) is not playing that. |

I want him but at the same time Oak doesnt and he appears to be probably a very knowledgable saints fan.
But now I think Long is a bigger need. I hope the guy signs with the cards or chargers if not us. |
