Re: 2021 NFL Draft: New Orleans Saints
The more I look at it, this trade makes sense for both teams. Miami would have picks 6, 18, and 28. Saints would get 36, 50, and 60.

Trill Williams - CB Syracuse
Can play both inside and outside. Good size, rangy & is physical. Would be a good prospect for coach Richard to coach up. |

We don’t trade back. Ever. It isn’t our MO. You might as well erase the phrase “trade back” from your mind.

But, that's a good number of starters in that list. I'd say the draft has been pretty successful in recent years. |

Saw an interesting stat today. Most consecutive years without drafting a QB in first round:
Saints 49 Cowboys 31 Pats. 27 Seattle. 27 |

I also did some brief research and found that, outside of Brady; and Brees at early second round, the top 20+ all time leading passers in all categories are all first round pics. At least from a brief, drunk analysis. Tarkenton and Moon are close.

Yup. I seriously doubt anyone drafting a QB beyond the first round is expecting anything more than a possible backup.
