Re: 2021 NFL Draft: New Orleans Saints
I was hoping for a safety & not a 3rd string QB in the 4th round. We could use more depth behind Marcus & Malcolm J.
Ian could have been selected in the 6th … anyway congrats and welcome. |

Are you absolutely positive of that? We have the 34th pick in the 6th round. If they had him targeted there's no way they could have taken the chance to wait it out. If a player is at the top of your board you take him and ignore what some outsider has determined where they think a player should be taken.

Weird draft for us. Adebo is the only good pick we’ve made.

That's just our norm. With pass rushing being a premium, I'm anxious to see what Nielson can do with Payton Turner. He was basically playing out of position for the majority of his time in Houston. He pretty interesting. Overall I think it's a C grade wise but there is definitely potential to outperform that. I can't really say I hated or disliked any pick. There's just a good bit of unknown. |

I agree, he probably would not have made it out of the 5th. If they were that high on him I’m ok with it. They are filling needs and he is one that could turn out to be a diamond in the rough.
