I was hoping for a safety & not a 3rd string QB in the 4th round. We could use more depth behind Marcus & Malcolm J.

Ian could have been selected in the 6th … anyway congrats and welcome.

Are you absolutely positive of that? We have the 34th pick in the 6th round. If they had him targeted there's no way they could have taken the chance to wait it out. If a player is at the top of your board you take him and ignore what some outsider has determined where they think a player should be taken.

Weird draft for us. Adebo is the only good pick we’ve made.

I'm pretty sure they feel EVERY pick they have made was good. They do have a tad more experience than ANY of us ... and the so called experts that have never really drafted a player in their life.

That's just our norm.

With pass rushing being a premium, I'm anxious to see what Nielson can do with Payton Turner. He was basically playing out of position for the majority of his time in Houston. He pretty interesting.

Overall I think it's a C grade wise but there is definitely potential to outperform that. I can't really say I hated or disliked any pick. There's just a good bit of unknown.

That is the nature of the beast known as the NFL Draft. Nobody knows for certain how any of the drafted players are going to end up performing. Every year there are fairly unknown players who end up being great. Just as every year there are uber hyped players that simply do not ever cut it. It is and always will be an inexact science.

I agree, he probably would not have made it out of the 5th. If they were that high on him I’m ok with it. They are filling needs and he is one that could turn out to be a diamond in the rough.
