He is not the answer, period….but to many including myself he’s better than Hill. And as far as getting someone’s rocks off, your an idiot…..
You base his giving us a better chance than Hill based upon what? One appearance with more than SIX pass attempts since 2017?

Please.

Not based on what Semian has done….but having watched what Hill HAS not done. Still rather take my chances……and keep Hill where he is.

I just got done watching the NFL Network this evening and several of their pundits (Willie McGinest, David Carr and Steve Mariucci) were all in agreement that Trevor is SP's best option as a new starting QB and that Taysom should return in the same 'situational QB' role he's been playing until now!

Perhaps there are some differing opines being floated now that the news has sunk in? Regardless, SP is the QB Whisperer and the final judge on who can/ will run the offense best. I just hope our team stays competitive enough to make some noise without Jameis!

It appears that this is Hill's first reported concussion, once cleared he should be good to go. However it's a good question how it will affect him long term.

Re: Trevor Siemian

Trevor can win with this team. He's a smart veteran. Hill can win with this tea., But he is more valuable to the team in his slash role. Especially with Thomas out.

If left to my own devices I'd like to see what Book can do sooner rather than later. But I'm going to worry about my own meat and trust CSP's decision and root for whomever the Saints QB might be - as long as it's not Kaepernick.

I'm inclined to agree, but only if their chances of getting in the playoffs are DOA.

Agreed!

Regardless if its Siemian or Hill, we're in for some serious change and some excitment. At first I was a little freaked out. But Siemian played decent and Hill is coming back soon. And you know SP isn't going to let the clowns know who we're starting until the last minute. lol

I would tend to agree with that strategy as that is what I proposed all along in having Winston as the starter, but Siemian is not Winston. Nowhere even close. I feel that we have a far greater chance of success with the ball in Taysom's hands every play. Winston is a playmaker. Hill is a playmaker Siemian is not and never has been. I believe Payton knows this and I expect Hill to be getting all of the first team reps in practice.
