Re: Trevor Siemian
Well, it seems to me the last two losses were not about QB play as much as other aspects. This last loss was mainly due to special teams (missed kicks and fumble) and a good old ref screwing. The Atl loss was dropped passes and again missed kicks as well as D letdowns. Maybe Hill could give a spark. But IMO it’s kinda like switching tires on a car that has no brakes and a bad transmission. The ride ain’t gonna be any smoother.

There are plays here and there made but it’s mostly sucked forcing the offense to mostly rely on the RBs and QB scrambling (which got Winston hurt). Hill’s tires have no more air or tread than Simeon’s do. At least not enough to make a difference IMO.

Why are you bringing up Winston? He’s hurt in case you haven’t heard i.e. “Water under the bridge”. You know who most of Winston’s completions were to? Kamara. You know who Simeon didn’t have last game? Kamara. No impact their either in your mind I guess 🙄. That being said, I’d rather have winston as QB as well. The point was about inserting Taysom Hill as QB and if he would make a difference. |

Re: Trevor Siemian
Trevor has played great, and could be a future to build around. He, so far, has played better than Winston.
The biggest issue Trevor has is at WR/TE. We have the worst average separation by pass catchers in the league and are 5th in dropped passes. Tom Brady, Drew Brees and Manning wouldn't have much success with our WR/TEs. Trevor threw for 300 2 TDs against one of the best Defenses with ZERO help around him. The one knock on Trevor... piss poor clock management, that can be improved. |

They are expecting the ball to be in the hands when its arrival is actually a tad later than expected.
