Perhaps there are some differing opines being floated now that the news has sunk in? Regardless, SP is the QB Whisperer and the final judge on who can/ will run the offense best. I just hope our team stays competitive enough to make some noise without Jameis!
I would tend to agree with that strategy as that is what I proposed all along in having Winston as the starter, but Siemian is not Winston. Nowhere even close. I feel that we have a far greater chance of success with the ball in Taysom's hands every play. Winston is a playmaker. Hill is a playmaker Siemian is not and never has been. I believe Payton knows this and I expect Hill to be getting all of the first team reps in practice.

The knock on Hill that Siemian does well is checking it down to Kamara/Ingram. Idk if Taysom doesn’t go through his progressions to get to that point or just lacks that touch needed for that pass but hopefully he has worked on it. He will need it moving for the team and for him if he wants to progress as a starting qb in this league.

From Oxford Language dictionary:

Water under the bridge:

used to refer to events or situations that are in the past and consequently no longer to be regarded as important or as a source of concern.

His actions are impacting the team NOW and they are a source of concern NOW. Hence it is not water under the bridge.

I also don’t buy your take that no one else on the team cares that his actions screwed the team. Especially when you want to nail Rogers for not taking the vaccine yet give Thomas a pass on this.

Sorry you don't buy it. That's your prerogative. Just like dwelling on things that are water under the bridge is your prerogative. As far as I am concerned the fact that Thomas didn't have surgery earlier is of zero concern to me and no longer is important because it has no impact one way or the other any longer. There is no guarantee he would have been available if he had. What is, is.

But, you keep dwelling if it makes you feel better! Just stand there on that bridge looking downstream as that water flows further and further away.

Oh, by the way, I'm not nailing Rodgers for not taking the vaccine. I'm nailing him for implying that he had been "inoculated" and for repeatedly violating mandated protocols.

Now now Bosty don't go at him with logic! Lol

Someone not taking this relatively new and "experimental" vaccine doesn't make them a jerk.

I'm inclined to agree more with Rogers on this.
