Guido you're right, I'm not going to participate in this injured player fetish anymore.

And you're exactly right brother Rell .

People also have the right to call out players & coaches as they wish on B&G. Gweedo the Narcissist doesn't have the power to tell others how they should act, think or feel either.

He's slowly running off too many nice people on this platform. I hope he hasn't run off TheOak (a highly respected poster here for many, many years). I simply don't understand why the mods allow his antics to continue.

This is a sports forum in which we all can debate right? It's not always rainbows and unicorns.

If there are people (myself included) here you don't like or don't wish to respond to, simply use the ignore button. It does wonders.

Major im all for LEGITIMATE debates with context not feelings. I don't want to debate your feelings there's no compromise or middle ground there. Objective opinions are welcomed for debate all day. Constantly speaking on players as if we know them their mindset or inside scoop to why MT didn't get his surgery or Marcus Davenport port not having any value equivalent to Zack Wilson is just asinine. I'm a football fan first. A fan being emotional over a injured player is just downright weird. They don't walk into the building and pick what injury they are going have for the season. But let some of these cheerleaders tell it MT sabotaged the Saints because he doesn't want to play. I'm going to call a hater a hater everyday all day.

Rell I see what you’re saying. But some people get emotional when debating something. And to me there is nothing wrong with having hard feelings or frustration about a coach or player who hasn’t lived up to their draft status or position on the staff.

Thing is man, people get emotional about things that they’re passionate about. That’s just human. Try not to take it the wrong way if someone doesn’t like certain players or their track records. They’re just passionate and ultimately just want to see all the players and coaches and the team succeed.

And some just call it like they see it. There’s nothing wrong with that man.

And to me, passion is a feeling. If you’re debating something that you have absolutely no feeling about, you’re not gonna be very good at debating it. If you wanna get into a debate with me about paint drying, I’m gonna have a rough time with that. Because I don’t give a **** about it. Lol.

I understand passion as a fan of a team. I get it I really do. Here's my example, Alvin had a "down year" this year statistically speaking some started calling for his head because he had a down year alot of it outside them fumbles were no fault of his own. Playcalling usage etc...play factors into players performance. Football "in essence" is 11 on 11. Your DB play effects your pass rush pass rush effect your db play. DT effect your LB play so on so forth so when some people isolate players without context and just regurgitate one meaningless statistic by itself. I'm going say something because THATS NOT FOOTBALL. Can't talk run game and not talk oline. My passion isn't going to supercede reality. Saints were 5th in sacks and people still felt like we needed a upgrade at pass rush. Why is that of guys herald sacks so much in the Saints were fifth in that category?

Idk Rell. My only guess is that with 3 first round draft picks Cam, Davenport and Turner, they should have a better pass rush. Or maybe just with the talent we have there on the defensive line as a whole, they feel like there should’ve been more.

Hell with what we had for DBs I feel like there should’ve been more ints. I mean, the offense underperformed regardless of who was at QB imo. But some may say that Dalton wasn’t good enough and that was the problem. My opinion is that he was fine and did okay but our offense was just vanilla and didn’t seem to have very good plays. Everyone’s got an opinion man. Lol

They were 5th in sacks are you mad they weren't from the dline? Me personally doesn't matter who gets them Saints had 60 of them. Everyone has a holes too don't mean I want hear the non-sense that comes out of the hole too. No they don't they look at few stats and b*** and complain. Facts are this Davenport with ZERO sacks was the highest graded pass rusher on this team. That's not an opinion that's a fact. Facts are most of if not alot guys here don't care about wins they care about how the wins look. Salivating at Chris Olave and he underperformed dropped passes in critical situations and dropped tds. But because he's also with OROY the pick satisfies some egos around here. So since All opinions are welcome here's mine. Last year's draft was a miss and will cost the Saints more in the long run than Davenport ever could. Fans wanted a new face at WR and felt elated somehow Saints are still in the same boat if not worse. Some of You guys love stats so much they leave you blind. Since this is such an opinion friendly forum welcoming of all. Consider this the start of something new.

Well put, Rell. Passion is one of the things that make us "fans" or fanatics. And passionate debates are part of it. I believe what you are also trying to convey is that making every other (or more) post here the same passionate criticism of a certain player or coach or GM gets tiresome. Am I right here, Rell? Every subject turns into an attack on Michael Thomas, or Davenport, or Dennis Allen, or Sean Payton, Or Mickey Loomis. We get it. You hate these guys. Fine. But can we sometimes just talk Saints football without it constantly turning into the same old hate fest?

I don't hate Michael Thomas, Marcus Davenport, Dennis Allen, or Mickey Loomis. I would love to have a beer with them and eat some nachos. No hard feelings emotionally. Just that while we are having that beer and those nachos I would be really stoked if they were wearing Atlanta Falcons uniforms. Because the one thing that is emotional is that I prefer the Saints win games and the Falcons lose games. And I think that those people being part of the Falcons organization would help achieve that results, in terms of the leadership skills of Allen, the long term decision making of Loomis, and the health outlook of Thomas and Davenport. Its nothing personal. I don't think they are bad guys or get hurt on purpose. I just would prefer my team not be the one paying them when they do. I hate watching the Saints lose. As someone who hates watching the Saints lose, I cannot love the idea of every member the Saints organization who underperforms being given a second and third chance. The Patriots dynasty cut loose all kinds of their players when they feared they were passing their primes and the timing was not always perfect but no other team got more than 6 rings trying something else. So sorry if I don't want continuity at every role forever and that makes me a hater. I wanted continuity at every role for the Falcons when they had Matt Ryan, because I wanted them to have the same result forever as when they blew a 28-3 lead. For us, I want something different.

Patriots haven't done anything since Tom left what's your point? Them cutting ties with players has done what for them? Trading Gilmore did what for them? Cutting Cam has done what for them? Yall speak on things so absolutely and have no idea what you're talking about. Grade a defensive linemen impact without mentioning sacks....I'll wait
