Can’t really sit around and wait and see how it shakes out with Rodgers or Jackson. It’s also doubtful they would want to come here anyway. Somebody was gonna sign Carr sooner rather than later and I’m glad it’s us. Still think we are one and done in the playoffs assuming we win our ****ty division.

If the players are reacting positively, I'm willing to give him my support. He needs to produce immediately for his own sake, and the sanity of the fan base.

I agree that at least the team has a direction, new identity, and someone to draft around. Defense is good. Let's see how this pans out.

Carr has always produced. His problem has been that his teams also always had horrible defenses. Just look at Matthew Stafford.

Very valid point. They seem happy so I am too.

This gives us greater flexibility in who we're going after in the FA and draft. I'm kinda hoping for a big ol' DT or a real mauler at LG in the first round.
