New Orleans Saints signing quarterback Derek Carr to four-year deal
The New Orleans Saints are signing a deal with quarterback Derek Carr, according to a report by the NFL.
The Saints are singing a four-year deal with Carr, who will head to New Orleans after nine seasons with the Raiders.  Carr will start for the Saints as starting quarterback after its worse season since Hurricane Katrina, where the team cycled between Andy Dalton and Jameis Winston. Since Drew Brees retired after the 2020 season, the Saints have started five different quarterbacks. Carr was released by the Las Vegas Raiders last month and also considered the Carolina Panthers and the New York Jets in free agency. Contract details have not been released. | |
