Re: Clean house now
I was kinda optimistic early on when it was 21-0, I had seen nothing that made me feel confident AT ALL -- I felt like if this turned into a massive blowout, then there was a chance, however small but still a chance, that maybe they might fire Allen before the end of the season.
But then they got back in it, to their credit they played well in spots, but the 21-0 hole was juuuuuuust one score too many, to make up. The big problem was that the game was juuuuuuust close enough, that I bet Dennis Allen gets another year now, because of the low bar they have for him. It's kinda infuriating. If it'd been a huge blowout, they'd have to take the prospect of firing him seriously. Now they don't. |
