You are the other one here. Somehow you think we don't understand the reality of the Saints current situation and that you and the other guy have to mansplain it to us on a daily basis.

I will no long ignore him. Or you either. You post trash (your "truth") and I'm going to follow up.

So, you get the same question. HOW DO YOU FIX IT!?

You have defined the problem. We no longer need to discuss, or have on repeat, what that problem definition is. We need solutions. All I ever hear is "Fire Allen". Just like last year "Fire Pete Carmichael." OK fine. You got your wish.

But then what. Folks are already complaining about Kubiak and he hasn't run a single play for this Saints organization yet. Who would you have put into that spot instead. Why?

You fire Allen. Who do you put into his place? Who should the Saints have hired 3 years ago instead of Allen?

This is why I challenge your truth. You have no solutions, just complaints.

Stop telling me about the problems that you see. Tell me the solutions to fix them.

AsylumGuido likes this.

Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good.

You keep saying that 'Truth hurts' as if no one recognizes that the organization could be better. But none of you never ever ever EVER! tell truth about how to fix it, or who to get that can fix it.

Because you don't have a clue about how to do it. Truth hurts.

If you are right, then I hope not. Because if you are right, the Saints in 2024 tanks, looks terrible doing it, and everybody gets fired. And I'll be here to talk about that 2025 team in whatever form it's in.

But if I'm close to being right, then we'll be right back here again. Typically it's changes in personnel (players/coaches), schedule, and health that causes huge swings in the outcomes of a season. The schedule pendulum didn't swing far from last year. So, unless the team looks like a MASH unit, they likely won't tank.

But you're the one that says stop with the woulda, coulda, shoulda. You should do the same. Loomis had his chance to fire Allen in January. He did not do it. It is done. The die is cast. We're going into the season with who we have.

So, it's pointless at every turn to point out what the Saints shoulda done. But you do it with every post you make.

We won’t tank. And as much as I dread being right, we’ll do just well (mediocre) enough to continue to reshuffle Raider-Refuse and undeveloped/underutilized pieces around in a disorganized and disoriented manner, so that I’ll just have to copy and paste what I’ve been writing for three years, in my discussions with you next year.

That would be unfortunate. I'm actually with you that if the Saints do not make progress this season, then Allen needs to be dismissed.

The question becomes what then? My feeling is that we need to swing the pendulum back to offense. Ben McDonald of the Lions would be my likely target. But then the entire defensive staff needs to be revamped. That's going to be tough.
