Re: Turning Attention to the Draft
Took a quick glance …Saints have 6 picks in the first round 4 rounds.
It’s imperative to make the most of them, not thinking next year but planning for seasons to come. Time to select the best players we can get on BOTH sides of the ball. I’m not so certain our current draft “strategy” is good enough. We need better player profiles of the players new HC Moore wants. All 32 teams have “hit” & “misses”, but this time, we need more IMPACT than what we’ve gotten on early (1st & 2nd rounders) picks like Penning, Turner, Ruiz, Foskey, etc). |

Maybe it might work out for us like Baun did for the Eagles |

I wouldn't mind Mason Taylor ending up as a Saint.

Re: Turning Attention to the Draft
Jahdae Barron - CB
Texas POSITIVES — Highly versatile player who is used in an almost limitless way at Texas. — Stout, strong defender who excels in the run game. High-motor athlete who plays with reckless abandon. Secure tackler. — Smart defender who identifies his threats in zone and plays with great leverage. — Plays with very good ball skills. Puts himself in a very good position and attacks the ball through receivers. Able to defend bigger receivers. NEGATIVES — Hesitant when breaking at times. Looks like he doesn't trust his eyes. — Although he has very good twitch in short area, he lacks elite long speed. First round grades Now that Adebo is gone, you need another boundary guy. |

Will was a dawg @ LSU ...
IMO his run blocking needs a lot of work. Interested to see how he transitions at the elite level of football. Rd 1, Year 1 projected starter. |

Re: Turning Attention to the Draft
With Lattimore and Adebo gone, our greatest strength has turned into an area of need.

Re: Turning Attention to the Draft
The more I look into it, the more I realize how deep this class is with CB position.
