this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; So, no Lane Johnson in the top 18?! Wouldn't he be a better pick for the Saints at #15 since they have a pressing need to add more talent at the LT position?...

Re: 2013 NFL Draft - Saints Big Board
Pretty much all the pre-draft rankings I've seen have listed Johnson as the #3 OT before Fluker, but this mock has Fluker going #21 and Johnson #27.
What am I missing here?! I have to believe that if Johnson is available at #15, and there are no big trade down offers; the Saints will pick him. |

Re: 2013 NFL Draft - Saints Big Board
Looking at the Jets having 2 first rounders and needing a new QB either this one or next and not much talent this year. Plus the uncertainty over Ryan if the jets would consider a trade along the lines of
Saints 1st 2014-(one of 3/4/5)2014 and Ivory for there 9th or 13th this year. We can then either get Johnson and another at 15 or trade back with one while picking up a need. |
