Nice, I wouldn't mind taking Smith at all. He's kind of undersized for a LBer (I believe he's under 220 pounds) but he's aggressive as hell and very good in coverage, which is something we need in our linebackers.

I like Telvin too. What I like most, is we could grab him in the 3rd.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

He'll be developed as a Strong Safety (think Joey Browner)...

The other side of the coin is clubs now this. so besides the cost for giving up a first round altogether. Now add in the option plain the cost is even more,

that an 800 pt pick cost would have been 1000 pts or so. But now 1400+ without blinking is the cost we are talking right out the gate.

I still love the idea of the more picks you have the better chance you are at getting starters

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

I've got it figured out 100%. Saints need Beckam in the 1st, Landry in the 2nd, Jeremy Hill in the 3rd, Ego Ferguson in the 4th and Barrow in the 5th. Wait Beckam won't be there. Damn. Lemme rethink. I almost had it figured out. Anyone else like the direction?

Saints | Interested in Jonathan Dowling - NFL Hot off the Wire

The New Orleans Saints view Western Kentucky SS Jonathan Dowling as the perfect complement to FS Kenny Vaccaro.
