How can a head coach keep his job regardless of the record he finishes with? As for the "who's out there" we found SP when he was an offensive coordinator, we could find another. |

Considering only 12 teams out of 32 teams in the entire NFL make the playoffs, we're far from the only ones who didn't make it...and one of those teams went 15-1, in our own division.
Sure, we're pretty spoiled, but it's Payton and Brees that spoiled us. You can change coaches if you want, but there's always a chance you get WORSE instead of better. Then what? It takes time, and when big gambles don't pay off, it takes a while to dig back out of that hole. We're closer to getting better than getting worse. Trust me. |
