In Sean Payton's post draft interview, he stated that he thinks we have a LOT of linebackers with different strengths & we won't be in a bad situation if we lose one or two due to injury. He sounded pretty high on selecting Anzalone & if Ellerbe should beat him out at WLB, they will slide him over to SAM.
Camp will be fierce with competition this year. |

And because of the different skill-sets we've signed and drafted, we'll scout and put in packages that will help us match better... So some LBers may see more snaps in games than others, and that will be the nature of Saints Defense moving forward... Usually you acquire better pass rushers to help your DBs, it seems Payton is trying to improve the DBs and get coverage sacks... |
