Maybe in some person's minds he should. But in his mind I really doubt it. He is firmly planted in Louisiana. All four of his children were born here. He is invested into all kinds of Louisiana businesses. When he says he'll retire as a Saint I believe him.

Cool! I came on board when Dad was transferred here back in late Spring of 1967. I found out about the new team when my sister and I came down in June and dumped my old allegiance to the Packers. That was the team everyone loved up in South Dakota.

I am expecting Brees to do another extension similar to last year. It works best for both parties, especially when Brees has no desire at all to ever leave the Saints. If he had not already won the SB once, maybe, but he has already achieved that goal. He has built far too many ties to Louisiana. He is extremely family oriented. His oldest boys are in school. I just can't see him ripping his family up and moving for some chance at glory that he believes is possible here. He doesn't need it. Yes, he wants to win bad, but he has said that his family and God come before football and I believe him.

Absolutely! And I feel the defense is in a position to make great strides forward. They just need consistency in the scheme and the players on the field. They'll be getting the first, for sure. Let's pray the players can do their part without what happened this past season.

Well, not exactly. Technically, you are re-regurgitating what reporters are regurgitating from Jones Jr, who probably got the line from the Browns/Raiders.

Anyone that isn't blind could see the confusion out there during 2014 and the first half of 2015.

... and you assume this confusion is because the scheme is "complex", as everyone keeps regurgitating. "Complex" is the word they use when they don't want to say "bad" or "incompetent". No owner or coach is going to come out and say "so and so is an incompetent coach", because that would be an indictment on themselves, hiring the man to a coaching position in the first place, as it was pointed out by Dam1953 a few posts before.
