Maybe Armstead does not get hurt, but still the Oline has had problems every season so far when facing tough pass rushers. |

I love the OT pick, for years I've wanted a midwest country strong lineman. Looks like we got one, hopefully Payton is cured of his pass happyitis and they start to pound the ball all day on the ground with passes mixed in

Re: Despite defensive needs, Saints pick offensive tackle at No. 32
The more I ponder this pick, the more I like it. They didn't reach for a player, nor did they move up and lose picks. After getting the #1 CB, the Saints stayed at 32 and picked up a #1 or #2 OT. We needed depth and maybe even a starter on the line. I don't think anyone will argue how important it is to protect Drew Brees in the next few years.
As much as I wanted Foster, this pick feels safe and successful. We've done pretty well with Big 10 O linemen in the past. Now let's go get Tim Williams, Zach Cunningham, Curtis Samuel, and Jordan Legget. |

The issue with Strief is his lack of foot speed... Once he gets beat he doesn't have the athleticism to recover...
That's the way I see it |

FWIW, there is a "unconfirmed report" coming out now that Reuben Foster will require a second surgery on his shoulder. Possibly another reason why he slid so far down the draft board last night.
