I may be in the minority, but I didn't feel like CB was a need, that's why I'm *****y about the pick. I understand the position was decimated by injuries last year, but that was last year. I understand that it could happen to the same group again this year, but it could just as easily be the D-line, or LB's or WR's or any other position group that gets hit this year. Or maybe, just maybe we'll get through this year without a crap ton of injuries to any particular group. I hope Lattimore turns out to be great, but I'd almost be willing to bet my life that Foster will be great. But whatever, my say doesn't matter so all I can do is hope for the best and pray that we don't live to regret passing on him.

Rumors are swirling that Foster may need another shoulder surgery; could be on the bench before the season ever starts...

The 49ers don't seem to think so. Time will tell I suppose.

That's a risk I wouldn't dare to gamble on in the first round

All I am saying is I would rather have Defense. 11 DE, 32 lb, or corner.
And if he can get a sack somehow or cause turnovers. I'll do back flips with my Ole ass

We have had injuries on the oline every year. I doubt he does not see the field next season. And we had no depth behind our starters. If Armstead was healthy, we probably play better offensively against Carolina(2nd game), Detroit, TB, Atlanta....And Peat was not as good at LT and LG was clearly the weakest link when Armstead went down.

Maybe Armstead does not get hurt, but still the Oline has had problems every season so far when facing tough pass rushers.

Was Streiff a issue last year? I heard nothing but raves since it was said he struggled before because of the oline coach.

The issue with Strief is his lack of foot speed... Once he gets beat he doesn't have the athleticism to recover...

That's the way I see it
