The Saints do not plan to tender RFA Delvin Breaux, per source. The cornerback is likely to hit the free-agent market tomorrow.

Damn.

I was just about to ask your input on this one Chris.

That would explain the tweet from last night by Breaux. Sux he couldn't stay healthy.

This doesn't mean he's gone. It just means the Saints didn't feel like he was worth a tender. It may also mean that they will be targeting another CB either through free agency or in the draft.

Letting Breaux go. Did he ask them for this or are the Saints fed-up and moving on?

Will the Saints apply the same standard with Armstead?

It’s very difficult. Like Guido said though, it doesn’t mean he won’t be back... Just that we want him at a lower rate.

I feel like we owe him. Our dumb medical staff may have cost him his career and through it all he was the ultimate cheerleader and team-first guy.

Possibly.

Saints FO having interest in DRogers Cromartie makes sense too.

Yeah...it wasn't an ass slap. It's a full on grab and squeeze. Possibly "cupping the ass". Is that you K?

That’s the other Cromartie. Big cousin Antonio.

I'm not familiar with his life outside of the sport, however on the field Cromartie has only had 3 penalties called on him over the last 2 seasons.

Coach Payton stressed all season that he wants guys (see Kurt Coleman) who are mentally focused on defense.

Matt Ryan is going to absolutely rape the Falcons and I'm going to love it. They are already so tightly up against the cap that they can't participant in free agency.

If we get Graham and Butler we would have another great draft!

Colvin to the Texans makes sense. They desperately need help at corner.

Too bad we couldn't land him. Aaron is a very good player.
