Wow, now this was the type of free agent signing at MLB I was expecting, not the 3 year/$24mil Demario Davis deal...

Guess time will tell which was the correct path...

I was just looking at Sportstrac and they have us with 10 mill cap space left and that's for the Okafor signing. I think we restructure Terron, Fleenor and Ginn or cut Fleenor and Ginn outright and then we can sign Suh and have some left over for draft picks. We would still have to restructure a couple but only a few million and that we can do. We would pick up a TE beast and a stretch the field guy in the draft and best player available for positions of need after that.

There is still about $6M to $7M that can be freed up by converting the $9M of 2018 roster bonuses to signing bonuses.

Thanks Guido and we will have plenty of money for this year.

He’s not there yet... He’s coming in this evening.

This is a smart play by player and team - Ravens did Tulane alum Ryan Grant dirty though...

If all Breaux gets are one year offers, I'd love to see him come back and compete with Crawley for that LCB job...

Maybe he really wanted to play for Texans. I doubt some teams didn't offer him more money.

Kyle Fuller just got 14 mil annually. Crazy.

Re: 2018 NFL Free Agency

Nobody knows how this defense is gonna do next year but you gotta hand it to the Saints front office, Davis and Robinson are both in PFFs top ten front agents. They saw areas of need and got top guys on the market. They were able to get Drew at a hometown discount. They kept Okafor from getting away even after he "proved it" in his "prove it" year.

So far, it looks like they've done a pretty good job.

Jets send three second-round picks to Colts, move up from No. 6 to No. 3 – ProFootballTalk

That pick better pan out or someone is getting fired. Like REALLY pan out.

That's a steep price to pay to move up 3 spots.

3 seconds and your 6th pick to move up to three. I would pee myself laughing if the player they wanted wasn't there.

Great deal for the colts. Loads of holes fill and some highish picks

Just seen that
If Suh is a no go Hankins would well be worth a look.
