That said, he would give a a better chance at winning than any other choice out there. Let's hope we never see him, though. |

Re: Jameis Winston 1 yr deal
I seriously doubt it. The Bucs will most likely adjust to fit what Brady knows instead of asking him to adjust to their system. Same scenario as when Manning went to Denver.

Re: Jameis Winston 1 yr deal
So Winston's base salary is 1.1M for the season?
That is a bargain if you'll ever see one with zero risk. Seems like a guy who wants to get better (he's only 26) at his craft, sit behind the best in the biz & become a starter again. Not saying it's in New Orleans but you never know. That says a lot of about his commitment at QB. Humbling. |

The other issue is that Brady won't be playing in the AFC East. |

I live under the Tampa umbrella so I can't help but see a lot of Tampa football. He's always been a unprompted turnover machine, not just last season. If you think a leopard can change his spots more power to you, I have no faith. I've seen too much bad football. We lose Drew for any serious time I have zero confidence in this guy chewing any W's for us.
As to Teddy, I'm not sure what board you've been reading but Teddy did not get much love on this one nor much credit for his 5 W's. Defense got it, Sean's game planning got it. Capt. Checkdown I heard a lot. And don't let the door hit ya when he left. |
