Jameis Winston 1 yr deal

I just keep telling myself he’s just a backup and it’s not like we are bringing him in to start. Who knows maybe he will get his act together but I am not holding my breath. He’s a better Qb than Teddy but I would still take Teddy as backup any day. We won games with Teddy because he didn’t turn the ball over and let the defense and special teams do their jobs.. Can’t say the same for Winston.

Severe aptitude issue. Also lazy. Would not be surprised if he gets beat out in camp and cut by a rookie. I actually expect this happening. He doesn't have that level of commitment. Relies on his physical attributes and calls it a day.

If Tom Brady just came in to my division I might pick up his new team's last QB for a year as well.

This is what I was thinking. Winston must have some insight into the Tampa Bay offense, right? I'm sure we can benefit from that somehow.

I seriously doubt it. The Bucs will most likely adjust to fit what Brady knows instead of asking him to adjust to their system. Same scenario as when Manning went to Denver.

Didn't really work very well for Manning. Yes, he got a ring....thanks to the D. Granted Manning was playing hurt, and he only played 9 games, but taking that into consideration his numbers that year weren't that great. Completion %, TD %, Int % were all off.

The other issue is that Brady won't be playing in the AFC East.
