I don’t discount the possibility of a rift, quite possibly a serious rift, between CGM and the Saints, as a team, or from an organizational standpoint. And, it’s entirely possible it’s his last year here, I just didn’t see him being traded at this very minute, before the trade deadline. I like the guy bc of how dominating he is on the field and the Saints have missed him playing, regardless of record. But if he’s gone next year, I won’t lose any sleep, that’s a guarantee! Player’s move around the league for many reasons. You won’t catch me being a “homer” for any active player or coach. Every player is a cost benefit analysis. Every. Single. Player.
