Maybe. Hank was the other guy I was thinking of, but I was thinking Datsyuk over him...that's just where my gut is leading me. I realize that last part was sarcasm, but he'd be too new to make captain. I'd be all for Howard being captain, but goalies aren't allowed to be captains anymore.

I like Bertuzzi, but not a lot of people do for his actions in the past. He hasn't been there long enough in my opinion though.

My only problem with him is that he stole my number! (Even though he had it long before I decided it was "my" number). Long story short, 44 is "my" number because when I was picking, I picked the one off of my Jahvid Best jersey. I even changed his # on my game just so I could create myself and have that #.

I've always like Bertuzzi and definitely feel like the whole Moore issue wqas played out from only one side.

I don't know anything about it other than what I've heard. From what I heard, they are right to feel the way they do, but they aren't right to not let it go. People change...people regret what they do, why keep holding it over their heads?

Bertuzzi was wrong but (as it is w/ most stories and tales) I don't like the way Moore is portrayed as an innocent victim. Or that Bertuzzi is just some reckless goon who goes on murdering streaks...

I didn't agree with what Bertuzzi did, thought he should have stopped at the sucker-punch, but I realize he was 'retaliating' for Moore's earlier cheap shot on Naslund, and it wasn't as bad as the McSorley/Brashear incident ... while I didn't call for it, I would have supported a lifetime ban for Bertuzzi had that been his punishment ... I was a little apprehensive when he came to the Wings, but he seems to have overcome the bad press ... he's not 'captain' material though, more of a role-player.

In other NHL news, the Kings continue to roll through the playoffs as they take a commanding 3-0 series lead in the Stanley Cup Finals ... stick a (pitch)fork in the Devils, they're done ... seemed like they played half the game with a man advantage & still couldn't score, gotta' give the Kings their props ... <sigh>.

I enjoyed the Kings announcer discussing Gretzky's accomplishments and then recanting how the Great One came to LA in 1998....fail...
