GREAT JOB, guys: 20+ page thread on hockey!
... yeah, what a time for the Kings power-play to come alive, eh? 3 goals on the Bernier boarding-major sealed the deal for LA ... ditto on the GREAT JOB to the group, not too shabby ...
... not even a vacation to the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republics kept you from posting either,
... well done, your actions reflect favorably upon yourself and the Black & Gold Hockey Group,

... that definitely was the turning point in the game, what a shame ... had Bernier (NJ) made a play for the puck, it wouldn't of been called ... had the refs made the same call on Stoll's (LA) earlier hit on Gionta (NJ), the play would have stopped & they'd never have to make a call like they did on Bernier ... IMO it was a classic case of the refs feeling the game was about to get out of hand & they needed to do something to get it back under control ... it was a game-changing call that decided a championship, you hate to see it ... not that I felt NJ was going to come back from being down three games to win the Cup, just that they had the momentum early on in Game 6 and could have possibly forced a Game 7 ... oh well, it is what it is.

... <sigh>, yes, I had quite the dismal record in the playoff-prediction department this year, <scratches head> ... 6 of 15 and only one Western Conference series correct ... I blame it on the Lions making the playoffs and thus taking my attention away from the NHL during a crucial time in the season when I'm normally paying more attention to the league,
. On the bright side, now that the Devils have lost (and in such an unsavory manner), stay tuned for Zach Parise in a RedWings sweater,
