Actually, no, it isn't comprehension I questioned. I think it's selective reading is what I think, or selective responding. It's a common tactic, particularly in a forum like this, and it has nothing to do with the color of one's skin.

I didn't find it profound. I found it ironic. Because in your mind your opinions of all white people are funded by history and therefore you can rightfully point that racism finger at all of us, even though you have no idea who we are or what shaped our opinions.
