Okay, sure. I have faults that I admit. But you are infallible in your mind.

Damn, JP. You post everything in bold! How self-obsessed is that?

Geez! You were totally wrong when you dressed down Rugs on his Ruiz and McCoy take. You came back trying to cover with a totally misguided article. I came to his defense and you went off. That pissed me off. Rugs is my friend and was totally right in what he posted.

Listen, I love you, but you do not know everything. I'm sorry, JP. That is a fact.

Only in the general statement, but you never admit you're wrong, even when it's clearly demonstrated...

You've still never given one instance or specific criticism of Sean Payton...

Still waiting for your clearly demonstrated instance of being wrong in reference to the Rugs post.

And why the hell do I need to give an instance or specific criticism of Sean Payton?

He wears bad shirts at times. What else? I have to hate on Payton as much as you to get your respect? Sorry. Not going there.

Challenged you more than a year ago to name one criticism and you're bringing up a recent thread?

As painful, reprehensible as it may seem, we'll wait for that one honest criticism of Sean Payton...

I have no criticisms of Payton. Why should I? He has led us to our best years ever by far. I am serious. Why does it torture you so that another person doesn't have the same detrimental feelings as you. I'm sorry, but that is a you problem. Not mine.

You can't name one thing he's ever done wrong in a game, draft, or free agency? Not one...

Why should I? If he has I have moved well past it and don't dwell on it. You ought to try it. You are far too obsessed with your earlier disillusionments.

Has anyone ever told you to let it be and move on? Oh, wait!

That would be far too rational.

You should try it.

Malcolm Jenkins was the only player in the NFL last season that had 90+ tackles, 2+ sacks, 3+ interceptions, and 10+ passes defended. He’s still useful.

In all fairness, telling someone to “let it be” means there is in fact something to let be.

There's always something. Life is made up of a continuous stream of somethings. You cannot let them, however, control your being. Learn from those you can and let them all pass. Dwelling upon them is unhealthy.

If that's the case why do you counter with a personal attack upon those who offer valid criticism of Sean Payton and his Front Office; why are you not rational and let it go?

Read that stat and I laughed at it then...

Like saying who was the first NFL player to score a defensive 2pt conversion and nearly Defensive Rookie of the Year - Stephone Anthony...

Gardner at SS would have made this secondary :cheering: last season...

And if Malcolm Jenkins has the opportunity to defend 10+ passes, that tells you offenses don't respect him...

CJG had 13 passes defensed.

Jenkins was far from elite last year, but he was decent. I personally like him as that extra linebacker on passing downs.

Re: 2021 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook

I have to agree with Rugs and AG on Ruiz and McCoy.

I remember there having been talk about SP having been unsatisfied with how McCoy handled his responsibilities at center during his rookie season. This lead to the pick of Ruiz as he was a standout college center.

Ruiz was dealing with an injury during TC, which limited his exposure to being able to practice playing at center, and perhaps most importantly, he wasn't able to build a working bond with the QBs, which I'd assume is important for a center.

I don't know how much better McCoy did with his center's responsibilities this past season, but clearly Ruiz had problems reaching his potential during his rookie season.

It would probably be better if Ruiz moved to his natural position at center and McCoy moved over to guard where he had success at the college level.

I'm sure at some point or another I have had critical thoughts about something acquainted with Sean Payton, but there is honestly nothing that comes to mind at this time. There is nothing to be gained by holding onto criticisms so I don't even try, especially when it involves someone I like and respect.

Stop the finger pointing and have an intelligent discussion boys. In the words of Rodney King "why can't we all just get along?" I'd rather have the linebacker as much as the nickel is better suited to face 3WR sets...

What could we get for him? If it's a good deal then trade him. If not give him another year to learn the new skills necessary to play LB'er.
