Careful with that one, it calls into question what you know. There is some degree of holding on every play of every game.

Major posted a video about it. Even Florio called it out. I’m willing to question what I know. That doesn’t mean I can’t spot a missed call.

Not my point at all, didn’t question any call. You commented about refs not calling specific holding calls. My point is that, that is actually the case most of the game. If they called them all, the ball would never move forward outside of a punt and even then it would get called back.

The difference between holding and not holding on the line is whether the hands slip to the outside of the pads where the Ref can see them. If the hands don’t slip that O-Lineman is still holding that defender by his pads most of the time because he knows if he can just slow him by a fraction of a second the QB may get the pass off or the RB may squeak by.

A successful play is based on fractions of a second but close wins and losses are because both teams played with heart or sh1t the bed.

Apparently the difference in a hold and not a hold is what the ref feels like calling. They felt like letting Tampa’s line get away with it.

There are 22 players on the field and 7 referees, some people make contact with the other team multiple times. Ever sat in a room and tried to watch a dozen 5year olds… Even if the referees were all Steve Buscemi they could watch everything all the time lol.

Do you visit many boards for other teams? You should try it, especially after that team loses. The consensus across the league is that the Referees are screwing everyone.

To me that’s a level playing field.

Did you watch the video of Simms and Florio? There are refs designed to look for EXACTLY those holds. If it makes you feel better to let the refs off and blame Allen that’s obviously your prerogative. It’s not accurate, but it’s your prerogative.

With all due respect, it might save a lot of dedicated Fans a lot of time and energy, if you would just look at the Title of this thread. Whether or not a petition would even be effective, it's the thought that counts. The consensus appears to be that (among other things), we have a COACHING PROBLEM. After 13 weeks, if that's not clear to you, enjoy the bye-week, and let's see how well-coached we are against the dirty birds. Should be an interesting game, to say the least.

This is an actual fact. Every week on any fan board after a loss is a thread about how the refs are out to get them and how the game is fixed. I see them all the time.

Lots of times it’s true.
