Respectfully Dizzle, you're making assumptions here.

Re: Saints fans launch petition asking team to fire Dennis Allen
Or maybe the players know it’s on them for playing like crap and not being responsible for their performance. Fumbles and missed tackles aren’t always on the coach.

Why? he has doesn't have a Quarterback, it's his first year as a head coach. give the a guy a chance. Were all spoiled, Thank Drew Brees and Sean Payton for that.

Re: Saints fans launch petition asking team to fire Dennis Allen
I don't get wanting to fire him when we go 10-7 in the regular season and 4-0 in the playoffs.

Re: Saints fans launch petition asking team to fire Dennis Allen
Something to consider here, diz ... was it Sean Payton alone that motivated the players? I believe that Drew Brees and other players were tremendous motivating factors. I have no doubt that Allen, and the other coaches, are doing all they can as far as motivation goes, but losing a leader like Drew Brees leaves a huge vacuum. I believe it was a void that Payton himself couldn't fill last season.

That should have been a field position play to tie the game with a FG.

I was thinking same thing Oak. Of course, I thought a lot of Payton’s calls were suspect too.
