Find better, quality depth.

Injuries are a part of the game.

“Next man up”, needs to be able to step in & make plays.

Is the NFC South completely truly wide open next year with the Brady retirement?

The caveat to that is relative to cap space currently

ATL ~$56Mill under
Car ~ $9Mill Over
NOR ~$57Mill Over
TB ~$55Mill Over

Atl's and Car's rosters will not look this bad after FA and the draft.

NOR and TB have painful work to do.

On paper it is.

But hey, guys gotta go out and play. Coaches gotta coach.

Something tells me Franch Reich is going to turn that Panthers franchise around quickly.

It's really hard to ask the next man to step up when he isn't nearly as good as your player who went down. That's one of them downfalls to trading away your mid round draft picks. We struggle with depths when we follow that course of action.

They could turn the Carolina Panthers around fairly quickly because they actually have a good coach now. I'm afraid that's something we will be hoping for over the next year or two.

The next man up is usually not as good as the man that went down. That's why they were the next man in the first place rather than THE man. That's the exact explanation I have heard concerning injuries and depth. It does make perfect sense. You'll always take a hit to some degree with an injury.

Reich is definitely a good offensive coordinator. He's had mixed reviews as a head coach, however. Let's not forget he was just fired midseason after a 3-5-1 start.

Remember Sean Payton is the reason we do not have a reasonable QB. Drew Breeze and Sean made us a below average team.
