this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I sure would like to see Cam get into the double digits again this season in sacks. He’s a stud. And a team guy. It would go a long way to get him closer to the HOF at the end ...

Re: Official 2023 OFFSEASON Thread
Do we Rank Cam in our top 5 Saints of all time. Because I’ve got.
1. Drew Brees 2. Pierre Thomas 3. Devery Henderson 4. Tracy Porter 5. Marshon Lattimore Cam makes my top 10 though. |

It’s like how people make a top 5 NBA list and most leave off Russell, Wilt or Kareem. Drew is on my list because he’s Drew. Pierre didn’t invent the screen game but he’s the best I’ve ever seen run it. Drew to Devery on the long ball was a thing of beauty. Porter is my hero for what he did in the NFCCG and the SB. Shon is on my list simply because he’s Mike Evans daddy. |

If I define greatest as a combination of my favorite/best, the Saints have had my list would be: 1) Drew 2) Ricky Jackson 3) Colston 4) Reggie Bush 5) Lattimore Note: Mills and Roaf are not on the list only because they had great success with other teams so that tarnishes it. They are top 10. I realize Deuce (or Ingram) should replace Reggie…but I loved the excitement he brought to the field. Along with his name recognition, and how he made all the defense focus on him, I honestly don’t think we win a Super Bowl without him on the team. |

Henderson was great and a crucial contributor during our hay day but far from one of the best. I'm not even sure id put any of those guys ahead of the ones I've listed except Brees. Lattimore I'll give you, especially if he stays the course but the others were just important pieces. Cam definitely goes in there. The heart award goes to Jason David. |
