Boy, that would be a terrible look for Dennis Allen.
The Saints have had a pretty solid defense since Allen's return. I'm not sure that Davenport having success somewhere else would necessarily reflect poorly on Allen.
That said, I would hate it if he were to become what the Saints and their fans have been expecting for the past few years on a team other than the Saints.

I'm speaking in terms of individual production. Is Allen and his staff really getting the most out of these players? I never saw anything new (just a bull rush) in his repertoire over the last 4 years. IMO he looked uninterested at times.

2022 for Marcus was below average.

The lack of consistent production has always looked odd to me.

I agree. You'd think for a year as important as the last year on his contract he'd perform at a higher level.

Unfortunately, that's not saying a whole lot on Sundays.

The Saints were dead last in pass rush win rate for 2022.
