New Orleans — The strangest team in the league in my mind. You just don’t know which Saints are going to show up from week to week. Which is why a lose-one, win-one routine that results in an 8-8 record wouldn’t shock me in the least. Nor would a new job at the end of the year for Jim Haslett, who USED TO BE one of my favorite head coaches.

FWtex -- Brooks is 14 points ahead of Carter in effiency rating and you consider that close??

But the real reason it\'s unfair is that you are attempting to find some QB that everyone considers terrible that has simular stats to Brooks, just for the sake of making Brooks look bad. Carter\'s numbers aren\'t that bad but Brooks is ahead of all those QB\'s that you consider so good. So, you kinda come across as (I won\'t say STUPID) less than intelligent.

I\'m sure anyone who has any sense doesn\'t need me to show them how rediculos your comparison is. But, I am doing this for your benefit. I consider it a blessing to help those that are mentally challenged. No \"Thank Yous\" are neccessary -- I\'m sure the look on your face is reward enough--

Damn Billie you busted me. Yes I did compare Brooks stats to carter to make a point. Carter has been the joke of the league since his first year but so far this year he has played incredibly decent. Brooks has also played decent. If you notice my first comments are always, \" Brooks is not the problem with the team\".

The Difference for carter this year is the coaching staff has put him in positions to play better, whether its mental, play calling or whatever. Brooks does not get this.

As for my statement not being fair? I left you a huge bone but you did not take it. I would not argue with you if you had said its only been two games and there have not been enough games to make a big separation. But by basing your argument on the effeciency rating is flawed. The rest of the stats are not to be ignored.

The rating is for \"PASSING effeciency\". If the rating was OFFENSE effeciency I would tend to agree that there is a difference between the two. So far Carter has managed to run his offense better than Brooks.

My original statement was more meant to show that the saints offense is grossly underperforming and it should be inexcusable. How can a offense with a worse QB, A worse Off. Line, a Worse RB, and a Worse receiving corp be outperforming an offense with a SUPPOSEDLY all pro QB, all Pro RB, All Pro WR corp, and a very competent line?

It has never been more clear that there are some folks who just don\'t believe in Brooks and will use anything to show why he isn\'t worthy of leading the Saints offense. It doesn\'t matter what I say. I just hope when Brooks has a fantastic year that you will never claim to be a fan of his. He don\'t need you now and he won\'t need you then.

I know you are desperately wanting to be Brooks only fan. This is why you keep trying to tell people if they are \"off this or off that\" they had better not get back on.

I have this mental picture in my head of Billie with a bag of twinkies in one hand and a twinkie stuffed in his mouth. His face is filthy with food stains and he is riding on the \"wagon\". All these people keep trying to get on the wagon but billie is fending them all off with his food covered free hand and his feet. Twinkie food is flying out of his mouth as he\'s yelling, \"stay off ... this is my wagon and you can\'t get on\".

There are more than just a few hypocritical people on this board, and as Brooks continues to play well it\'ll all come out in the wash. A solid, but less than spectacular quarter or half of football is all the bashers need, but they are only showing their ignorance.
