It looks like it's possible if we wait for OTA/training camp injuries to pile up around the league. Though, by that time Armstead himself could be injured again.
So as early as next offseason. Thanks bro

This latest injury is far less worrisome than the knee problems he has had in the past. It had nothing to do with supportive tissues such as tendons, ligaments or muscle. The labrum is nothing more than padding. Who knows, with the extra time off maybe he can come back stronger than ever.

Yeah might actually give his legs the proper time to fully heal.

That sounded like an awful lot of dead cap if we were to trade him thou.

Who knows what kind of mismanagement these now fired orthopedists have done with Armstead's injury.

Makes you wonder about Byrd, K Lewis and others.

And do you wait till his trade stock will yield only a fourth round pick vs a second round pick?

Look, the last three drafts have had several quality offensive linemen, Big Ten Corn-Fed Milk-Farm boys right there at the end of the first and through the first half of the second round...

We'll get a younger, four-five year cap friendly linemen that can play right tackle which is a position that is a helluva lot easier to field than a left tackle...

Armstead, for all his tremendous athleticism, hasn't played a full 16 healthy yet...
With Breaux and his injury history I'm not so sure he gets another contract here and I hope like hell they let Vaccarro go after this season. I don't think with the current starters with Armstead at LT we are going to drop off this season but grooming potential players to step in and play (backups) when the aging vets just don't have it anymore would be better in the long run. We don't have nearly the depth at RT and C right now and having to go after a high dollar FA isn't a good move in my opionion. The higher draft picks should be spent on the D side of the ball and a late 1st early 2nd should go toward a TE or WR that don't have stone hands.
