"--*C Max Unger returned to practice and got some work with the second-team offensive line. That will change soon once he settles back in and gets his legs under him."

This is big!

Sounds like they nailed that projected recovery timeline.

Lattimore was already talking to a trainer before the 1 on 1 drill.

Chris Banjo, who's coming off of a crazy ST performance against Chargers, just put on a clinic as a jammer on punt return

— Joel A. Erickson (@JoelAErickson) August 24, 2017

Banjo continues to have good practices/game performances on ST.

Ok then... Gonna be that kind of day huh?

Hopefully it's only precautionary with Ram. Khalif Barnes is not the answer with the ones.. at least not against the Texans D.

Harris or Barnes will get a QB destroyed.

Great, just great. Lattimore doesn't bother me much as we have decent depth there but come on Ram we need you,

Lattimore wants to show QB's he's the real deal, yet he can't stay healthy for a week.

They should sit Lattimore and Ram out until the 1st regular season game. I would say longer but our first 3 games are the Vikings, Patriots and Panthers. We're going to need all hands on deck and I trust coach and his new staff to take care of Marshon and Ram

It's concerning that they are both on injury #2 and the season hasn't even started yet.

Re: 2017 New Orleans Saints Training Camp

Payton said both should still play against the Texans so hopefully it's not too bad. As for sitting them the first three games unless that would be worrisome. We have to win 1 out of the first 2 and go at least 2-2 after the first four games or the season is over. I don't think you can climb out of an 0-3 or 0-4 hole for the third year in a row.

QB's we will face over the course of the first 6 weeks (I left out Cutler on purpose) of the season ...

Bradford
Brady
Newton
Stafford
Rogers

That's a tall order. All hands on deck.

You give him enough time, even Bradford can slice you up.

If Bradford slices us up we are in for a long season, true story.

But we have some pretty good QB's in our own division that we play 6 games against and you throw in AR and TB..half our games are against pretty good QB's. Agreed

After watching a third year Gunslinger (Derek Carr) throw for over 400 yards of offense in the dome first game of the 2016 season, I simply don't take QB's for granted. Especially those at this level.

I'm hoping if our LBers and defensive line continue to play like they did vs the Chargers our defensive backs jobs will be a lot easier

sure, all starts with pressure, but keep in mind that Chargers oline was all banged up. But you're definitely right dline makes big difference

You're absolutely right about every QB, I just do not put Bradford in elite status. If Bradford is elite every QB in the league is.

We lost Breaux mid-game didn't we? I think we held up pretty well that game until Breaux got hurt. If memory serves me right. Was a long time ago.
