Hadn't heard from Trey Hendrickson in a while. I'm not even sure he practiced any last week.

Yeah I'm not sure what's going on there. It hasn't been talked about much with how good Kikaha has been looking but Hendrickson's missed a lot of practice.

Apparently Thomas put a dirty hit on someone. Maybe plays like this being allowed isn't helping our injury situation on defense.

All I can say is thank god for Ken Crawley! He may not be perfect but damn it he's out there day after day.

For an undrafted second year guy...he is not doing too bad at all

Guido, I don't think I can ride with you on this one. Giving Brees, Jordan, or Streif a day off is one thing. But two guys who have played a total of 3 NFL games cannot by any stretch be considered regulars.

Young guys need all the reps they can get. So if they are not out there getting reps you have to wonder if something is actually going on.

I put Lattimore in this category too. Unless the kid is actually injured, he needs to be out taking reps in practice.

Not too sure about that. Ramczyk and PJ have practiced several straight days. No indication either had any issue yesterday. Makes more sense that since both have been there on all reps are both are expected starters that they got a day off. Lattimore did obviously get dinged. It was we he got tangled up with Thomas.

Rookies rarely take days off unless it's a day off for the entire team. They need reps and to get hit as much as possible to get their bodies ready to take impact at this level

Lattimore has a sprained knee that is considered minor and was disclosed a few days ago; smart thing is rest and let him start as a reserve if it comes to that...

Considering how fast we can geaux through CBs, even if Lattimore has to come in rested, strong after a few weeks, it is better than combing the waiver wire...

But, yes, in a perfect world, he'd be out there practicing, developing, but it is what it is and better now than in the middle of a stretch run or playoffs...

Bothers me that Breaux and PJ are out still. And Lattimore is missing much needed reps. Would be nice to not start the season with the starters on injured.

That is exactly why it is a good idea to hold them out until completely healthy.

It is cramps...no no no it is the coach giving them a day or two off

Maybe they're just dinged and out a few days??? could it be?

I used to believe in holding injury prone players out till they were completely healthy, but Ellerbe and Byrd really woke me up to the truth. There's no such thing.

If you can't stay healthy for a couple practices, how can you reasonably expect to stay healthy for a 16+ game season.
