Re: 2018 NFL Draft Prospects - Saints
Herbie Teope
@HerbieTeope FSU LB Josh Sweat is scheduled for a predraft visit with the #Saints, according to a source. The 6-foot-4, 251-pound Sweat an intriguing prospect, can play DE in a 4-3 base defense or OLB in 3-4 base. Had 14.5 sacks in college. Also had informal interview with Saints at Combine. 12:37 PM · Apr 5, 2018 This guy is intriguing. He’s gotten a lot of late first round buzz since the Combine. His measurables are off the charts and he can play no doubt about it. Medical concerns though. |

Dislocated kneecap and torn ACL in his left knee (Sept. 2014) as a senior in high school, requiring immediate surgery and near amputation; suffered a torn meniscus in his left knee (Sept. 2016), requiring surgery.
With that being said, his explosiveness hasn’t suffered: 40 Yd Dash: 4.53 Vertical: 39.5” 3 Cone: 6.95 |

Re: 2018 NFL Draft Prospects - Saints
If I had a choice, I would choose the athleticism of Payne over Vea. Some of the things Da'Ron did in the trenches for Alabama was freakish. His hand movement is good too. I think he will be even better in the NFL than college.
You never know how to predict who will slide down in the draft but if he's there at 27 ... |

I keep coming back to Christian Kirk when thinking about WR’s. Plug him into the slot from day one and he and Mike will be deadly.
