And probably well into training camp. His best bet would be to wait for an injury somewhere. And no veteran likes training camp anyway.

Honestly I don't know if Ziggy Hood has any thing left.

Muhammad Wilkerson is still out there ... good 3 tech and would come cheap.

Too much confidence in Ochsner orthopedists and medicine with Rankins - just don't believe he'll be the same player...

The deal may have been impossible to even consider while trying to fit Thomas' new contract into the budget. We have to have our priorities and I think you would agree that Thomas is right up there near, if not at, the top.

With Theo Riddick we would have a true back-up to Kamara. Plus, we could put both of them in the backfield flanking Brees in the shotgun and create really good mismatches.

You would like to think that when a draft prospect gets high as a kite and falls out of a fourth floor window it validates the red flags.

I would entertain Riddick for the right price. I doubt we keep 4 RB's though throughout the season.

True, but a guy that gets up and walks away from that, got to be one tough SOB and you may want him on that defensive line - especially goal line stands...
