That's a lot of money for the guy who offers very little as a pass rusher. Good player but ineffective pass rusher. This just drove Ansah price up.

Yeah, I think signing Brown makes signing Ansah a little less necessary anyway. If he's willing to sign for a year and we can tie enough of his contract to incentives then I'd be cool with potentially paying a little more. Otherwise I'm totally fine letting him walk away. We could still sign a guy like Edwards as a rotational piece on the cheap, or maybe Trey Hendrickson is finely ready to be that guy.

If we can get him super cheap im on board as well. Good hands and route runner. Yes speed is not there but the man did get almost 800 yards with derek carwreck throwing to him.

So that helps our 3-tech DT situation. I know it says he’s a DE but that was from playing in 3-4 defenses. He’ll be a DT for us.
