Leaks coming out now that Odell Beckham already asking for Antonio Brown-type adjustment in his contract which he just signed for five years...

New CBA needs to have language in place that holdouts and team-detriment behaviour over contract dissatisfaction should be penalized in return of all signing bonus money and agent commission, fees...

Players need to either take the guaranteed money or play on year-to-year contracts...

However I still like Tyrell Williams. Big guy who is a deep threat.

Can I just say that I LOVE the fact that le'veon bell signed with the jets for nearly 20 million less than what the Steelers last offered him. On top of losing the 14 million from not playing last year, and now he's off to a garbage team with a garbage offensive line. You reap what you sow you dumb mother****er!

Essentially he took less money to be on a bad team.

He'll find out soon enough about the Jets.

Hold on a minute. People were talking close to $8mil/year for Ingram. This is BS... Murray got $4mil/yr and we couldn’t pony up an extra $1mil/yr?!

Or he left for extra 500k annually.

But I think Ravens sent mixed signals and he thought he could get a lot more, then we signed Murray and it was to late for round 2 of negotiations.

Up to this point, all speculation as to what really happened.

Maybe MI's agent came in with a firm number (7-8M was my initial guess), then Loomis and the front office brass swiftly moved on to Plan B - L Murray. Or maybe their negotiation tactic back fired ?

Maybe once we were all in on Murray, the Ravens knew they didn't have to move on their initial offer?

Nonetheless, I wish Mark well in Baltimore & let's welcome Murray to New Orleans.

Might have something to do with our cap number...

We have WRs already under contract...

Two were rookies this past season and should be much better...

Ted Ginn was injured last year...

And underneath WRs are asking for a ton of money right now...

And with that limited cap space, and looming suspension (if more than first offense) and injuries - we currently only have one defensive tackle under contract...

Getsom Taysom is a quality backup and if he gets 2 more years under Brees he will be killer and won't we get a draft pick out of the deal if Bridgewater signs with the Dolphins?

Next year, unless we get Ansah then they'll probably cancel each other out. Though Ingram may get a later one.
