Here's my theory on the Watson/Texans saga:

Houston Texans owner and attorney Buzbee colluded to defame and demoralize Watson AFTER his refusal to play for the team. I'm sure they know each other and Buzbee is a creep. He helped a multi millionaire get off of his own sexual assault charges.

I'm sure players and or coaches knew DW had a few flings with masseuses and it's very likely stories were shared in the locker room.

So Buzbee uses that info as leverage against the women and coerced them individually to come forward as part of a larger group of "assault victims".

After an entire season of discovery and investigation, Watson isn't being charged criminally. Do you think the FBI would have fond something, anything to charge him with if there was truth to the allegations?

So last week, Watson agreed to settle some civil suits on ONE condition - that there be NO non-disclosure agreement allowed in order that all parties be able to speak freely in the future.

That's because the truth has not come out yet.

It's worth noting that Buzbee is ADAMANTLY opposed to this move.

I think DW is innocent and that Buzbee will be found guilty of collusion and the Texas owner will be forced to sell the franchise.

I don't know all the players but I used to date a masseuse. It's a seedy business to be in, and so there's that. Your take wouldn't surprise me at all. I refuse to judge his character as so many seem so willing to do...unless he signs with Atlanta. LOL

Yep, the Falcons are running up against the clock now. Once Matty's bonus kicks in, that is a serious monkey wrench to deal with.

If Desean drags this on another day or two, Arthur Blank & co will be forced to move on. A restructure would make it extremely difficult to trade Ryan.

With the restructures happening this is obviously happening. I know not everyone will feel the same but that will be me done. I know people how have been the victim of similar things and its one too many.

For a team that has done nothing but talk about character to jump from one QB accused of rape to another with 22 civil cases coming up and to have drafted Granderson. Is too much. I'm not some moral crusader but this just shows how much teams are willing to overlook anything to win.

And before anyone starts with no criminal charges,it's ridiculously hard to get these things to stick in court and little wonder women don't come forward.

I won't be responded to this post. Just felt it needed said, so if that doesn't make me a real fan in some eyes, or the normal don't let the door hit you on the way out etc. Whatever.
Really disappointed the team would be willing to go down this road.

Reading the panties' huddle - they try to make themselves feel better with stuff like "Saints have a aging roster while we have young promising players."

Saints' roster age average is about 26 1/2 and they have 8 players above the age 30.

Panties' roster age average is about 25 1/4 and they have 5 players above the age of 30.

These are numbers from OTC from last preseason, but not a big difference if you ask me.

Well it's pretty much gonna end by this evening. Falcons are up against the clock. If Watson wants to suit up for the Falcons, they'd have to trade Matt today. A cool 7.5M roster bonus is due tomorrow.
