Re: What should the Saints’ plan be to upgrade at QB?
+1. Apparently he's on track (health) for the start of training camp.
If the Saints feel as though he's your guy, just take him @ 29. I tend to think we need to beef up the interior D line but wouldn't hate QB as the pick. Hooker could flop OR end up as the next franchise QB. IMO he'll be there in the 2nd round but what the hell do I know? I'm just an above-average couch coach ![]() |

I have been redoing mocks, and the results show McKee moving up the charts. Not sure he is worthy. But one can't argue with his stature, Ben Roethlisbberger-esque. Seems to read quickly too. What say you... Hooker or Big Ben part deux?

Hooker is the much better prospect in my opinion.

Tanner McKee college stats Big Ben's last year was way better, obviously. Other than that pretty similar numbers. Tanner didn't play much his first year. So maybe it could be analyzed as getting Tanner on the cheap since it's year three of Big Ben that elevated him.

Ohio St tries to claim BDJ. But they (Urban Meyer) whiffed on him.
