Re: The 2023 JeanPierre Saints Roster Depth Chart Thread
Throckmorton is really fighting for his roster spot this year. Our depth is better than we've had in years with the new players we brought in to compete. Even if Peat goes down early we're still better than last year. One thing about this front office is that they are trying hard to give DA a strong team to win with.

Re: The 2023 JeanPierre Saints Roster Depth Chart Thread
Ross Tucker wrote a story last year on the Oline tiers across the league.
I'm paraphrasing here but he basically said (ranked us as above average) that health/depth is one of the only things that is keeping the Saints from being elite. Trevor Penning & Andrus Peat need to stay out of that medical tent in 2023. Side note - he evaluated (before the start of 2022 season) the Eagles & Chiefs as his only elite O lines, ironically they were both in the Super Bowl in 2023 . |

He is spot on when it comes to the injuries it has the potential to derail a teams whole season. |

If that doesn't light a fire under Peat's butt nothing will.

Re: The 2023 JeanPierre Saints Roster Depth Chart Thread
This is his last year, IMHO, with the Saints. They can't cut him due to cap considerations. Might be more palatable sometime after season end.
It might, however, light a fire for his grill/boiler so he can make his own Fried Chickenz Sammiches. | |
