We only lost by one point! The team were bound to be a little deflated after watching their new starting QB walk off! We get Kamara back next game, so hopefully more running plays! We ARE 2-1 not 0-3! Plenty of season to go yet! Falcons lost today! Yaaaaay! Keep the faith Saints fans!!! Geaux Saints!!!!!! |

Good for you for being a fan though. (And I don't mean for that to sound condescending) |

1, 2, 10 … it’s still chalked up as an L in the books. Saints had no business losing today. Especially with a 3 score lead at the half. |

Re: Observations from the Saints Loss to Packers
Three scenarios:
A. Kamara is effective behind this oline. B. Kamara is ineffective running behind this oline and has to spend too much time 'chipping' to help much in the passing game. C. Kamara is injured behind this oline. I think A is least likely. |

Re: Observations from the Saints Loss to Packers
What happens if Derek Carr has a serious injury that puts his career in question long term, but we can't afford to get under the salary cap without restructuring his contract and we can't afford to move on due to the dead money that would hit, and his agent demands we guarantee his 2025 and 2026 salaries in order for him to agree to the restructure? This why I don't like leveraging the cap to the max. I am not sure we have options for an unexpected situation like this. I think Carr could plausibly demand an extension and if we say no, we could plausibly default on the 2024 salary cap and be unable to sign any draft picks and get fined millions.
