We probably need to bring in a QB for the week. I think it would be interesting to look at some of the Patriots retreads. I don't know what Corral had going on when he left the team but we should look into it. If its excusable, he has upside. Also that Malik guy, a mobile option might be good with our oline. And the Patriots keep making roster moves so maybe they put Zappe back on the practice squad and we can snag him. I would rather one of these options than bring in a known horrible hopeless QB just because they know our system. Also we could use some information on the Patriots and/or Panthers.

Yikes 😳 !

All I remember is him bad mouthing the previous Denver coaching staff publicly this off season.

Miami has playmakers but geesh. That score seemed personal.

I can’t recall any NFL team getting throttled in that manner.

-Terrible, difference making loss. The Saints were up 17-0 and the better team talent wise. All on the coaching.
-Carr is not a $40 million per year QB. Horrible pocket presence. Forces too many throws.
-Grupe missed the first kick that truly mattered. Not a good sign.
-The OL coach should be fired.
-The OC should be fired.
-With this WR Corp, the Saints shouldn't score under 30.
-The Saints appeared to go to that dreaded prevent defense in the 4th.
-Up 17-0 and 4th and short on the opponents side of the 50, go for it and finish them off.
-Taylor is a better CB than Adebo.
-Jones and Miller looked good.
-Must win vs Tampa.

Agree with everything think Groupe was just nerves probably didn't think he it was going come down to him. Lls probably was thinking naw we got this we're up 17-0 what's worse that can happen. No excuses he should have made it. I think he'll comeback stronger.

Re: Observations from the Saints Loss to Packers

Due to "technical difficulties" my ability to watch the last quarter was severely impaired. I have several questions that some of you could answer (without hysteria and hyberbole, but actual observations) that may be able to shed light on this loss for me. Please indulge me.

1) OLine struggles were still evident. What did the line look like after Ruiz went down and did the Carr injury happen as a result of the replacement being keyed on?

2) Inability to simply move the chains seems to be an ongoing theme. Largely, what are the likely culprits- PC's playcalling, Poor execution on all levels of the offense, Packer's D adjusting quicker than our ability to alter, Crowd noise, or some odd combination thereof.

3) Did there look like there was a cohesive plan to move the ball via ground game throughout the game or was it abandoned at some point in favor of throwing the ball downfield? Would AK41's presence have made a significant difference in that plan?

4) Defense got lucky with some dropsies more than a few times early in the game. What happened to the pressure on Love? did they abandon the early game plan (which appeared to be working well) to start dropping back in zone coverage?

Curious as to what some of you saw. Sadly, for some, I can already predict your responses, but surprise me. Let me have them anyway. Thanks!

A wise man once said, "Poo-poo smells just as bad as s#!%. One just SOUNDS cuter!"
