If it wasn't for the Sean Payton trade we wouldn't have had any ammo to work with on draft day last year. We trade away too many midround picks that don't we don't get to develop and it costs us big money in free agency because we have so many holes to fill because of poor drafting. Either that or we flat out take the wrong player on the big board when there are better players available that get picked later and play better than our draft picks. |

Re: 2024 Saints Off-Season General News and Discussion
Zach Baun could very well be back next year. I can't believe that they wasted him for 3 1/2 years before playing him to his strengths. Now we will probably re-sign him and be stuck with a Sam linebacker that can't cover. I hope we find his replacement this offseason who can also get after the QB.

Re: Official 2024 Free Agency Discussion
Was looking at Niners OL Joe Feliciano PFF grades.
His pressures to sack ratio was 15/2. Not to mention he got a lot of work due to injuries across that entire Niners line. 2 year @ 7M deal would be ideal. Wouldn’t break the bank & is an upgrade over James Hurst. By the way our LOWEST rated (per PFF) olineman in 2023 was Cesar Ruiz at 51.2. That’s 63/79 of guards in the league. McKoy was ranked best @ 79.4 Free agency could be where they add new players on that Oline. |
